Transparency and respect

Sources, attribution and licences.

Every geographical record and linguistic memory must be traceable to its territory, source and contributor.

Territorial data

Municipality records and coats of arms come from the repository linked to infocomuni.eu / OpenDataSicilia; administrative boundaries come from local GeoJSON files.

Cartography

The map base is provided by OpenStreetMap, with attribution displayed on the map.

Linguistic memories

Every contribution will retain its municipality, Guardian, source, date, any recording and validation status.

Open licence

Open publication will be accompanied by attribution, personal-data protection and clear reuse rules.

Heritage governance

AI Calabria distinguishes between what has been collected, what has been validated and what may be reused.

Transparency does not mean publishing everything without rules: it means making provenance, consent, status and conditions of use understandable.
